Furnitoply policy
Shipping & Delivery
Free doorstep delivery in the contiguous United States. Mattresses and sofas ship compressed, so there is nothing to assemble on arrival. We hand the order to the carrier within one business day. Transit inside the contiguous U.S. is typically 3–6 days.
1. How delivery works
Every Furnitoply mattress and sofa is packed compressed. The carrier brings the carton to your door — the building entrance, house door, or another safe outdoor / threshold spot the driver can reach. That is the full delivery service.
We do not offer in-room placement, stairs service, assembly, unpacking, packaging removal, or old-item haul-away. Those services are not required: you cut the carton, let the piece expand, and put it where you want it. Moving the carton from the door into the room is your responsibility.
What we do
- Ship within 1 business day of payment confirmation.
- Deliver to your door in the contiguous U.S. at no outbound charge.
- Email tracking once the carrier has the package.
- Split a mattress and a sofa into separate cartons when needed, each with its own tracking.
What we do not do
- White-glove, room-of-choice, or two-person placement.
- Assembly, tool kits, or installation appointments.
- Carrying the carton up stairs or down a long interior hall.
- Unpacking, trash haul-away, or taking an old mattress or sofa.
- PO Boxes, APO / FPO / DPO, parcel lockers, or hold-for-pickup shops as the ship-to address.

3. Timing
Business days
A business day is Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday start the one-business-day clock on the next business day.
Processing
After we confirm payment, we pack the order and hand it to the carrier within one business day. You receive a tracking email when the first carrier scan posts.
Transit in the contiguous United States
Once the carrier has the package, delivery to a contiguous U.S. street address typically takes 3–6 days. Weather, peak carrier volume, remote ZIP codes inside the contiguous U.S., and incorrect address details can add time. The tracking page is the live window; the 3–6 day range is the standard expectation, not a guaranteed appointment.
| Stage | Clock | What you should see |
|---|---|---|
| Payment confirmed | Day 0 | Order confirmation email |
| Shipped | Within 1 business day | Tracking email and a carrier scan |
| Delivered to your door | Typically 3–6 days after the first carrier scan | Delivered scan on the tracking page |
4. Addresses we ship to — and addresses we do not
We ship here
- A physical street address in the 48 contiguous states or Washington, D.C.
- Houses, apartments, and staffed business docks that a standard parcel carrier can reach.
We do not ship here automatically
- P.O. Boxes.
- APO, FPO, or DPO military addresses.
- Parcel lockers or third-party hold shops used as the ship-to field.
- Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or any address outside the contiguous United States — email support@furnitoply.com first.
The delivery address must be able to receive a compressed carton at the door. If a building requires a gate code, buzzer name, or receiving hours, put that in the checkout notes or send it to support@furnitoply.com as soon as you order.
5. What “delivered to your door” means
The carrier’s job ends when the carton is left at the accessible exterior door or building threshold. You (or someone at the address) bring it inside, open it, and let the product expand. Expansion can take up to 24–72 hours before the piece reaches its intended shape; a still-expanding product on day one is packing, not a defect.
The driver will not book an in-home window, will not carry the carton up stairs as a furnished service, and will not assemble anything. If your building will not accept a doorstep drop, choose an address that will, or write to support before the order ships.
A signature may be requested by the carrier on larger cartons. If nobody is available, the carrier follows its own notice-and-retry rules. After the tracking page shows delivered, risk of loss or weather exposure at that door passes to the address on the label. Bring the carton inside as soon as you can.
6. Tracking, delays, and failed delivery
- Watch the tracking link in the shipment email. That page is the authority for where the carton is.
- If tracking has not moved for 48 hours after the last scan, email support@furnitoply.com with the order number and tracking number.
- If the carrier leaves a missed-delivery notice, follow the notice — schedule a reattempt or pick the carton up at the local depot. Do not ignore it; storage time is limited.
- If the carton is marked delivered and you cannot find it, check with neighbors and building staff first, then email us the same day with photos of the door area. We will open a carrier trace.
- Do not refuse the delivery in order to “start a return.” Refused packages still create inbound freight. Preference returns follow the Returns, Refunds & Warranty policy after the order has been received.
7. Cancel, change the address, or split a shipment
| Request | When | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Cancel the order | Any time before the carrier scan that marks the order shipped | Free. Email support@furnitoply.com. |
| Change the delivery address | Before the order is marked shipped, and only to another eligible contiguous-U.S. street address | Free for one change. Further changes after label creation may not be possible. |
| Cancel or send it back after it has shipped | After the first carrier scan | This is a return, not a cancellation. Use the Returns, Refunds & Warranty policy, including any published return-pickup fee. |
A mattress and a sofa on the same checkout may leave our facility as two cartons on two tracking numbers. Each carton still ships within one business day and follows the same 3–6 day transit range. Free outbound shipping still applies to both.
8. Damage, shortages, and the wrong item
Inspect the carton and the product when you bring them in. Photograph the exterior, the label, and any crush or tear before you discard the packaging if you can. Visible transit damage, a missing module, or a wrong SKU must be reported to support@furnitoply.com within 7 days of the delivered scan.
If the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, return freight is on us. Comfort and preference returns after you have received the order are covered by the trial terms on the Returns, Refunds & Warranty page — including the published pickup fee on change-of-mind returns. Outbound shipping stays free either way; it is not refunded again on a preference return because you did not pay it at checkout.
9. Locations outside the contiguous United States
Free doorstep shipping and the 3–6 day transit range apply to the contiguous United States only. For Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or any other address outside that area, contact support@furnitoply.com before you place the order. We will tell you whether the location can be served and, if it can, how freight and timing would work. Do not assume checkout will accept or correctly price those addresses.
10. Questions we hear first
- Is shipping really free?
- Yes, to a street address in the contiguous United States. Return pickup on a change-of-mind trial return is a different fee and is listed on the returns page.
- Will someone set the sofa up in my living room?
- No. Delivery is doorstep only. The piece arrives compressed. You unbox it and place it. There is no assembly appointment.
- How long until it arrives?
- We ship within 1 business day. Transit in the contiguous U.S. is typically 3–6 days after that. Tracking is the live number.
- I live on a third floor with no elevator.
- The driver leaves the carton at the door the truck can reach. Carrying it upstairs is on you. That is why the product ships compressed.
- Can I ship to a P.O. Box or an APO address?
- No. Use a physical street address in the contiguous United States, or ask support whether a non-contiguous location can be served.
- The box looks small. Is that the full product?
- Yes. Compression is how mattresses and sofas travel. Give the piece time to expand before you judge the size or the feel.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, at no charge, until the order is marked shipped. After that, use the returns policy.
11. Homepage, product-page, and ad language
Trust bars and ads must match this page. Doorstep delivery of a compressed carton is not white-glove delivery and is not a guaranteed 3-day appointment.
